The organizer of Soundrenaline 2009, Indonesian biggest music event such as Woodstock in United States, invited me to cover the gigs held in Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Jimbaran, Bali. It was held on Sunday, November 15, 2009.
But, you know, I've got to fly westbound first to Jakarta prior to Bali, 'cos there's no straight flight from Semarang to Bali. It meant I flew four flights for the occasion, including the trip back home.
I took Garuda Indonesia (GA) flight Semarang-Jakarta, Jakarta-Bali, Bali-Jakarta, and Jakarta-Semarang. The weird thing is that I've got to fly westbound first, yet Bali is located east of Semarang, my hometown. The distance of Jakarta-Bali is twice of it should take from Semarang to Bali.
